For typical excavated sites, it is found that I-beams are stretched across for the site's use but not convenient or safe for workers to walk around. With the I-Beam Catch Base, a safe and stable walkway can be easily erected along the I-beams so that both time and accidents can be minimized. Another one of Canyon's tailor-made products, the catch base provides a "claw" that can be adjusted to fit on and balanced on the flange of an I-beam. Both ends of the catch base allows for vertical tubes to be attached (either via built-in spigot or coupler connection) for the guardrails assembly. It is important to assure worker safety for all aspects on the construction site.
